Description
This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 18+ month contract opening for a Senior Business Analyst experienced in an Agile/Scrum environment. Will gather requirements from the business and then work with the vendor on making the necessary changes. Once the changes are developed on the vendor side, will be responsible for performing the necessary testing to ensure what was developed meets the requirements. Will learn the business processes associated with the assigned subsystems. Will work with the production support team to resolve complex production issues. Will test new code provided in monthly releases. Will work with the Finance department to identify and scope application enhancements. Will participate on projects and gather requirements for changes required to the revenue accounting application. Will develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and test scripts. Will understand the use of Master Data in the application, and understand and work with the Tivoli job schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases.
- Experience creating Project Plans and Control.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with requirements gathering, Use Case creation, data analysis.
- Understanding of OO Analysis and Design.
