Mongo Developer - NoSQL, Mongo, OO, OpenSource
My client is a leading industry specialist within the marketing and advertising industry urgently seeking an Mongo Developer for a contract opportunity in Amsterdam.
You will be working on a migrations project, from Oracle to Mongo, working with a range or Oracle experts.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience working with MongoDB; good understanding of its architecture, optimization techniques & processing.
* Experience processing data from NoSQL stores
* Experience working on migration projects
* Experience using distributed applications
* Strong data emphasis in prior positions
* Solid understanding of Metrics & Reporting for a web-based business
* Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
* Extensive prior work with one or more of the following database systems: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Netezza
* Experience with at least one Scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby for use in data extraction
* IT/IS generalist skills: ability to troubleshoot various systems & software, address database connectivity issues, and improve data processing & system performance
* Strong problem solving skills and willingness to apply them frequently to new data challenges
* Experience with Data Architecture and creation/optimization of Data Marts & Data Warehouses preferred
