Description
This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 3-6+ month contract opening in Dallas for a Senior Network Engineer. Will be responsible for establishing enterprise data network standards, analysing and resolving complex network related problems, and analysing and testing all elements of the network infrastructure. Will design and implement network solutions based on business requirements. Will plan, design, and implement data network infrastructure components. Will coordinate the development and maintenance of procedures, specifications, and standards.
This position requires:
- 8+ years of enterprise data network experience and expert knowledge of network management tools, test equipment, circuits, and Routers.
- Minimum CCNP certification required.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Extensive experience with Cisco Networking including Routers, Switches, Call Manager, Wireless, LoadBalancer, etc.
- Experience with VoIP and Quality of Service (QoS) in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with SNMP Management Tools, PC based tools and products, and MS Office.
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stacks and Firewall.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, communications, & presentation skills.
