A Federal Government Agency is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their IT Department for an initial 6 month contract starting ASAP in Canberra. You will be responsible for providing ongoing operational management, maintenance and enhancements of newly implemented ICT solutions within the business. You will also be required to provide recommendations and delivery of these changes and manage various stakeholders and technology areas.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- To communicate with a range of stakeholders and clarify requirements to ensure objectives are achieved
- To design and develop new requirements or solutions to address existing issues
- Coordinate the timely delivery and implementation of new functionality
- To oversee and manage quality assurance activities
- Actively manage and meet stakeholders expectations as well as working cooperatively with fellow team members to meet project outcomes
To be successful you will demonstrate the following;
- Relevant and recent experience in solution design and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and provide critical systems analysis
- Strong understanding of areas within application development and system design
- Sound technical experience and understanding
- Manages client expectations effectively.
The successful applicant's will be offered an initial 6 month contract, with a possibility of extension and receiving a rewarding hourly rate.
