Shift Maintenance Engineer

The Role: Plant Engineering Technician
The length: 6 month contract, full time
The Location: Loughborough
The role:
Our client is looking for 6 months of cover initially; to join their maintenance team on rotating shifts, providing broad engineering support to their team.
You will be responding to equipment breakdowns, fault finding, and diagnostics, plus daily servicing and updates of asset care schedules.
The person:
You will be a skilled and experienced individual who can diagnose and resolve plant and equipment breakdowns. You will have worked in a manufacturing environment before and are used to a range of plant equipment that will also include electrical control machinery including PLC's.
Qualifications:
You will be educated to trade level with a City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC or NVQ L3 in a recognised engineering trade.
Previous experience working within a manufacturing plant that adheres to strict hygiene, health and safety standards, ie) pharmaceuticals or food is highly desirable.
Other: You will be required to work shifts and maybe asked to respond to call outs or weekend overtime.
Commutable: Loughborough, Leicestershire.
