Hourly rate: ~85 euros
The MI Centre of Excellence is a centralised project team supplying experience and expertise across all reporting levels: from horizontal to vertical, from operational to management level reporting. The team is predominately project focused, providing end to end involvement from inception to implementation. Members of the team work independently with both external partners and the business to successfully deliver projects. We aim to deliver all of our projects into a unique, best-in-class, enterprise level data warehousing solution; providing organisation-wide and cross platform reporting.
Role Description
A Senior SAP BW Developer working in the MI CoE would be expected to deliver technical expertise to an exceptionally high industry leading level. Due to the senior nature and level of experience required we would expect the developer to be extremely self-motivating, self-starting, and independent. Project work will involved extended exposure to the business, frequently senior stakeholders, so high levels of confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and positivity are essential.
Technical Experience and Qualifications required:
SAP Business Warehouse:
* Data Extraction (Custom and Business content extractors)
* Source systems connection using SAP API. DB-Connect and UD-Connect
* Datamodelling in BW according LSA principles
* SAP BW 7.3 knowledge using Semantically Partitioned Objects, Dataflow copying tool, Data flow modeller
* Advanced ABAP objects oriented programming for building extractors, Transformations and variable exits
* Knowledge on performance improvement activities to ensure solid and robust data loading processes in BW
* Process chain build knowledge
* Query design knowledge for building queries tailor-made for Business Objects tools WEBI, CRYSTAL and Dashboards 2008
* Plan and executed unit testing
* BWA 7.2 knowledge using BW 7.2 in combination with BW 7.3
* MDX knowledge
* Web services knowledge
Soft Skills:
* Experienced in working in large Datawarehouse environments
* Worked in multi-cultural environments
* Solid communication skills
* Good English language
Nice to haves:
Control-M knowledge
RevTrac knowledge
BW Administration, PSA cleanup, system table cleanup, Archiving etc.
