OVERVIEW:
The Social Experience team for our very high-visibility client is designing and delivering a world-class platform and social experience for kids with all of the fun and safety that defines the world's most popular entertainment brand. We are looking for a talented Senior Web Developer to help build social experience components across our client's products such as child safe social networking sites.
The candidate for this contract position should excel in all components of the web development skill set including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, site maintenance and troubleshooting. The candidate for this position will be an integral member of the development team and will collaborate on design and implementation of engineering solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years of web development, including DHTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Advanced HTML coding skills (without the use of a WYSIWYG editor)
- Advanced knowledge of CSS and DHTML required
- Advanced JavaScript coding skills
- Experience with AJAX development
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to technical and non technical audiences
This contract is expected to be five months in duration.
