Description
Our end-client is part of a global publishing company who are in the process implementing a Global SAP solution (this includes FICO and a range of associated SAP modules). As part of this project we require an experienced FICO Consultant who can lead the SAP implementation project in Milan, Italy.
Job Description:
The project requires a senior Italian-speaking SAP FI/CO Consultant with in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Financial and Controlling processes and knowledge of Italian financial and regulatory practice. As well as possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills it is essential that candidates have completed at least 5 full life cycle implementations and offer at least 10 years experience in the field of SAP FI/CO. Experience of purchase to pay cycle is also essential.
Core Duties:
- Knowledge of Italian GAAP and legal/regulatory practices.
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting best-practice to help identify areas where business processes can be improved.
- Configuring SAP FI/CO/ECCS modules and integration setup with other modules.
- Leading a range of FI-CO developments and providing guidance to our clients on SAP best-practice.
- Optimising the use of SAP FI-CO
- Writing functional specifications on FRICEW objects including Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflow.
- Conducting unit testing and integration testing with other SAP modules.
- Leading data conversion and master data setup activities.
- Managing training and user manuals and documentation.
Other:
- Fluent Italian/English-speaker (preferably mother-tongue Italian)
- Functional experience covering 5 end-to-end implementations.
- Key knowledge will be in SAP FICO but knowledge of Supply Chain Management incl. SAP Materials Management and SAP Warehouse Management would be preferred.
- A broad awareness of SAP generally and how it all fits together including SAP SD (sales & distribution), SAP FI (finance), SAP CO (controlling) etc.
- Local resource preferred.
