Systems Engineer: Exchange and Lotus Notes/fluent French and English, Netherlands (Limburg area).
- Systems Management. Microsoft Exchange Server. Outlook Web Access. Exchange. Rightfax. Citrix. Lotus Notes. Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer (Microsoft Exchange Server/Outlook Web Access) with fluent French and English for a freelancer contract based in the Netherlands.
Primary Accountabilities:
-Optimize and support collaboration applications (ex. Citrix), in line with engineering guidelines and industry standards, in order to realize high availability of the collaboration applications.
-Schedule implementation of changes as well as maintenance and ensure implementation and configuration, in order to contribute to optimal availability of collaboration applications.
-Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively and in a timely manner to ensure high availability and performance.
-Work closely external vendors, suppliers and/or outsourcing partners.
-Contribute to the formulation of, monitoring of and reporting on service levels and initiate and propose improvements, in order to contribute to the optimization of the collaboration application performance and capacity.
-Escalation of issues internally or externally to suppliers, vendors or outsourcing partners to ensure efficient and timely resolution of operational issues.
-Contribute to the formulation of strategic roadmaps and new technologies.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
-Bachelor working and thinking level;
-Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the engineering profession;
-Substantial knowledge of appropriate engineering tools/processes;
-Fluent speaking and writing in English is a must;
-Workable knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
-Proven experience in managing Exchange, Citrix, Rightfax and Lotus Notes.
Please note you will be asked to work during a couple of weeks (max until end of May) in France (Senlis), and should work from in the Netherlands (Limburg area).
