SAP FI-CA/IS-Utilities Consultant:
europeoples customer is seeking an experienced SAP FI-CA, IS-U consultant to join their ongoing assignment in Belfast.
The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate proven experience of having implemented/customized SAP FI-CA, IS-U. On joining the assignment candidates will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Gather and prioritizes relevant SAP Business requirements and designing appropriate SAP FICA solution:
- Interfaces with Business Stakeholders, IT Infrastructure teams, Development teams to ensure that business requirements are properly configured within SAP and 3rd Party applications.
- Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of ISU FICA including posting via reconciliation key, GL Transfer, ISU integration with R/3 FI module, forward posting to GL, settlements and balance sheet reconciliation, dunning, and payment processing interfaces.
- Understanding of utility core processes like ISU, security deposits,payment plans & collection management.
- Utilities industry experience and understanding of accounting processes within regulated and municipal utilities.
- Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.
- Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
- Defines test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests.
- Coordinate User Acceptance testing (UAT) with the Business Client
- Provide sales support to SAP Practice leadership and client sales associates. Provide specific content pieces as assigned for RFP response development, participate on sales calls, and provide expertise for scoping and modelling with regard to Interface Development.
- Continually expand existing knowledge. Research upcoming releases, review trends within SAP CCS and utilities as a sector, and help identify formal training opportunities for skill set development.
