Description
Software Development Company is seeking a Knowledge Base Test Engineer familiar with data quality and data management who can lead efforts in testing client's knowledge bases that are developed using client's proprietary knowledge base editing system, tested using a proprietary script-based system and customized for specific semantic domains across multiple human languages.
In this position you will test knowledge bases by evaluating the correctness of data transformations, develop and enhance test cases and scripts and maintain a script-based test system. You will interface with subject matter experts and incorporate subject matter expertise into test cases, develop, enhance, and evaluate specifications and provide technical support for client developers who use knowledge bases in their applications.
To qualify you must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, a minimum of one year of experience in a software development or software testing environment and experience with data quality or data management systems. Experience with Perl, relational databases, Unicode is preferred as well as experience with multilingual localized software systems.
