OVERVIEW:

Support work:

  • Technicians to support the existing Citrix 4.5 farm environment
  • Fielding support calls, manage incidents within the IT ticketing system and provide resolution to issues and document said solutions within ticketing system
  • Successfully complete change requests within approved change windows as assigned
  • Maintain health of Citrix environment
  • Participate in on-call rotation with other support team members
  • May be called to address management teams to provide details on support incidents that are categorized as Priority 1
  • Attend any meetings in support of the environment. (Team meetings, ad hoc support discussion meetings)
  • Make updates to any support procedures or process guides as requested (Example: Playbook)

Project work:

  • Adding server capacity to existing Servers
  • Adding applications to the farm
  • Administering farm applications
  • Upgrading existing applications
  • Knowledge of VMware ESX environment to clone Servers within farm
  • Manage change control process for both the work as well as necessary monitoring black-outs, etc
  • Documenting changes made to the environment
