Description
OVERVIEW:
Support work:
- Technicians to support the existing Citrix 4.5 farm environment
- Fielding support calls, manage incidents within the IT ticketing system and provide resolution to issues and document said solutions within ticketing system
- Successfully complete change requests within approved change windows as assigned
- Maintain health of Citrix environment
- Participate in on-call rotation with other support team members
- May be called to address management teams to provide details on support incidents that are categorized as Priority 1
- Attend any meetings in support of the environment. (Team meetings, ad hoc support discussion meetings)
- Make updates to any support procedures or process guides as requested (Example: Playbook)
Project work:
- Adding server capacity to existing Servers
- Adding applications to the farm
- Administering farm applications
- Upgrading existing applications
- Knowledge of VMware ESX environment to clone Servers within farm
- Manage change control process for both the work as well as necessary monitoring black-outs, etc
- Documenting changes made to the environment
