Job description
Review SAP Early Watch reports and make recommendations for changes to the DS-1 SAP systems to improve performance and stability.
Review current monitoring tools and processes to indentify gaps and suggest enhancements.
Integrate the various monitoring systems to provide seamless end-to-end monitoring of the business processes.
Coordinate Business situation calls to ensure timely restoration of service.
Analyze situations to improve system processes and to avoid future occurrences of known issues.
Coordinate with the vendors to ensure timely resolution to issues raised with their products
Reviewing Change Planning calendar
TD Meeting
Meeting with SAP Operations Support CR's
Meetings to Discuss technical requirements for new systems
High Level planning meeting
Weekly Meeting to review planned parameter changes
Support migration of SAP environments to Munich
Weekly Customer CAB meeting
Review Run books and make necessary recommendations to minimize undesired results
Perform daily system checks to monitor the system health
Application of SAP notes
Coordination of installation of SAP Support Packages
Coordination of Oracle and SAP Kernel Upgrade/Patch
Performance monitoring and tuning
Capacity Planning of SAP systems and associated database environments
Coordinate monthly DB refreshes of QA and Pre-Prod systems.
Participate in yearly Disaster Recovery Tests
Be available for Disaster Recovery when Situations are declared
Analyze and resolve SAP system dumps
Be the liaison between client (Application Hosting) and the customer
Review and approve Change Tickets
Follow-up and Monitor the Incident resolution by IMG team on behalf of Customer
Inform, remind and follow-up with customer on tasks initiated by App Hosting that could impact the customer's SAP infrastructure.
Keep customer informed about changes.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides data for KPI's reports on a monthly basis or as required.
- Attend team and department meetings and provide status as required.
- Cooperate with other teams in the resolution of issues.
- Share best practices with other team members to enhance service delivery.
- Attend technical meetings while dealing with Situation
- Regular, predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
