Our reputable client is currently looking for a Subject Matter Expert within their Desktop Architecture team. They are currently looking for someone for a 5 month project.As the SPMS SME you are responsible for all aspects of desktop architecture and design. Working with the customer, you will help develop a desktop and/or server operating system environment aimed at meeting the customer's business requirements through the use of industry leading technology. Capitalising on tools such as Microsoft's MDT, SCCM, App V, etc. you will be responsible for successful deployment and management of the customer's desktop enterprise environments as well as the design and architecture of the New Desktop Application and operating systems deployments.
You will be involved and proactive in innovation and transformation of current procedure to align with up and coming industry breakthroughs.
Essential Skills and Experience -
- IT Tertiary Qualification or extensive proven relevant work experience
- Experience and understanding of Software Packing and or Software Distribution experience on operating systems including but not limited to, Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7, Windows NT, Server 2000, 2003 and 2008 - in both 32 and 64bit configurations.
- Experience in a workflow management position/role.
- Experience working in a medium to large scale Enterprise Software Management environment
- Experience working with high focus and critical software packages and there distributions.
- Specific application packaging training
- Specific application deployment technology training
- Any training in Information Technology Services Management - eg ITIL.
- Any project management training
- Any Microsoft certification
