OVERVIEW:
Our client is the Northwest's most recognizable software brand seeking a Systems Analyst/Engineer for a contract opportunity. This position is on a team that operates online services, delivers service engineering, provides datacenter management and monitoring services and on-premises client management. In addition this group drives improvements into products and services by dogfooding, operating, and extending management and security solutions. In this way they drive innovation, ensure quality and reliability, and manage down costs to provide value to development, test and program management partners.
Best practices, accomplishments, lessons learned and tools with customers are shared through whitepapers, blogs, presentations and solution accelerators. This team has taken the traditional product development cycle and turned it into a quad Dev, Test, PM, and Ops, all working closely together to deliver great products and online services.
This project is to manage the platform delivery production support for System Center Configuration Manager and other custom production applications deployed. This project will primarily focus on problem and change management for production incidents and document resolutions and operations on a case-by-case basis. The project will also automate processes based on service improvement projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:- At least 5 years of overall experience in the IT support/service industry
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in enterprise support for System Management Server (SMS) or System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SCCM)
- In depth knowledge of SMS/ConfigMgr infrastructure
This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
