SSIS Database Specialist 3 Developer - Phoenix, AZ
6 month contract opportunity for a Developer/DBA with extensive experience writing SSIS packages is needed.
Desired Skills Include:
- Design SSIS Packages.
- VB Scripting.
- Reporting Services.
- Cobol.
- Query performance tuning.
- Use Dynamic Management Views and Function.
- TSQL.
- Identify/resolve blocking and deadlock issues.
Position will create SSIS packages transforming data from DB2 and loading into SQL Server.
Requirements are:
- 2 - 3 years working experience with SSIS packages and experience conducting application performance testing.
- Must have knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of SQL Agent and Team Foundation Server is a plus.
- A history of displaying excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to follow requirements in a timely manner and implement solutions efficiently.
- Also, must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
