Description
Large Financial Services Company is seeking to hire a Senior .NET Developer for a contract position. The seniorNET Applications Developer will support a suite of products with the latest in Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities include application design, integration development, supporting and enhancing existing or new applications, defect identification and resolution, managing and prioritizing workload to meet project deadlines and participation in code review process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for program design, code, unit and integration test, debug and developer documentation.
Collaborate with Systems Analysts during requirements gathering, providing guidance on technical spec creation.
Model practices that ensure business application systems are developed complying with architectural standards and established methodologies.
Monitor and provide feedback on project status.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and IT team to meet expected customer service levels.
Troubleshoot a variety of complex issues and identify solutions within broad applications and functional expertise.
Regularly provide input to define and implement conceptual issues.
Assist in enhancing application development standards.
Regularly interact with offshore Development team to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
EDUCATION
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3+ years experience on C#, ASP.NET, ASP and SQL Server.
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Application Design, entire SDLC and relational databases.
Development skills with SOA (emphasis on WCF) required.
Experience in dealing with interaction between host and web systems a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
