In the context of one of our assignments in Brussels, we are currently looking for a senior J2EE Analyst Programmer.
Job description
- Analysis of the requirements
- Prototyping
- Writing/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications
- Implementing change requests
- Elaboration of test programs
- Production of technical documentation
- Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
- Assist with the training of the users
- Apply RUP methodology and best practices
- Act as contact person for the end user
- Participate in meetings with the system owners
Knowledge and skills
- In depth knowledge of Java
- In depth knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier Internet applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle)
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies (preferably RUP)
- Good knowledge of modelling tools (eg UML)
- An expertise with Spring, Hibernate and Web services
- Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Eclipse, Tomcat, UNIX, web-security concepts.
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Knowledge of the existing IT Security frameworks for the development and maintenance of applications
- Ability to work in English, French (written & oral) considered as an asset.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working
