SQL Database Administrator - Stavanger, Norway - 6 month rolling contract - A leading offshore IT and software development company is searching for an SQL Database Administrator to join their team in Stavanger, Norway on a contract basis.
The SQL Database Administrator will handle tickets and requests and troubleshoot technical issues. You will be responsible for successful completion of installation, configuration and migration, building and maintaining a test environment and implementing new technologies and design changes.
Candidates must have strong understanding of MS SQL architecture, Filegroups, Partitioning, Schemas, Snapshots, C38 Memory etc. Installation and configuration of SQL Server pre-requisites, SQL Server database basic administration, SQL Server user account management and test and apply patches and service packs.
Candidates must be authorised to work in Norway.
