Our client is a global oil & gas company who have a requirement for a Senior Shutdown Planner. This is a long term freelance opportunity.
The Key Responsibilities for this role are:
Using the Planning system for integration with the Asset Planners
Part of the Asset planning process to ensure adequate s/d preparation, ramp down and start-up activities captured in the asset plan and avoidance of high risk activities before the s/d commencement
Developing the plan stages in accordance with the shutdown stage gate process
Logic challenge of plan
Risk reviews of plan
Probabilistic analysis of plan
Managing PoB control up to and during the s/d including representing PoB needs in the Asset plan for pre-s/d activities and post s/d tidy up
Compile the Shutdown Plan showing milestones & phases, critical path, activity logic, resource histograms, implementation progress and amendments to plan
Liase with all focal points Onshore & Offshore for activity detail information
During shutdown implementation to generate Daily Progress report, update the shutdown schedule & produce progressed plan and generate S curves of total and critical path scopes
Capturing planning learnings for input into the s/d learnt review
Developing long
