Description
My client is a government body seeking both a Contracting Officer and a Contracting Administrator for 3 motnhs contracts The Contracting Officer will support the processes for monitoring commissioning; ensuring that documents clearly articulate intended purchase, realted evidence and payments arrangement.
Key responsibilities:
- draft appropriate commissioning documentation
- prepare contract documentation for authorisation
- sanction payments, prepare reconciliations and maintain payment profiles
- maintain commissioning systems
The Contracting administrator will provide administrative support to the contracting team and assist in the processes for issuing contracts and payment arrangements
Skills Required
The contracting officer will be:
- educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent by experience
- contract or project management experience
- ideally an understanding of contract law
The contracting administrative officer will have experience of:
- providing administrative support to a team
- analysing information - ideally NCQ 3 in Business Admin
