This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 3-6+ month contract opening for a Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager. Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple complex client related infrastructure projects. Will develop detailed project plans and schedules, assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Will define activities, sequence them, estimate duration, and develop schedules. Will be responsible for chartering projects, determining scope definition, developing plans, verifying with business owners, and managing change control. Will perform resource planning, cost estimation, and cost control. Will be asked to plan communication, distribute information as necessary, and execute all communications. Will be expected to ensure timely and accurate distribution of information, documentation, and issue resolution to all appropriate team members, and provide status reporting and escalation. Will perform responsibilities under minimal direction from manager. Will facilitate and implement proper conflict resolution techniques to ensure timely resolution of critical, time-sensitive issues.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years combined experience with Program Development, Systems Analysis, and/or Project Management managing Infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project.
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas of MIS including Operating Systems, Networks, Problem/Change Management, and Project Management Methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of technical/system products.
  • Advanced understanding of business related issues and needs and impact to project budget and timeline.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, customer service, communications, and presentation skills.

PREFER
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Business Administration.
