PAY: $50/hour  

POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position you will join our Global Network Communications Services team and will be responsible for the technical leadership, architecture, design, project management oversight, and deployment of our Unified Communications solutions.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technology Design and Engineering of Unified Communications solutions.
  • Business Requirements Collection & Analysis.
  • Technical Communications and Consulting.
  • Establish and Maintain key relationships with strategic suppliers such as Cisco, AT&T, and Global Crossing, Verizon Business Systems, etc.
  • Manage software release plans and schedules for Unified Communications solutions.
  • Maintain standards for Unified Communications Solutions.
  • Enforce adherence to all change control and software release/patch management processes.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or related field Cisco Voice Certifications, CCNA and CCVP.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of IT/Telecommunications experience.
  • Cisco Unified Communications Architecture, Integration, Design, and Deployment experience.
  • Cisco Desktop services & configuration including CUPC (7/8), CUVA, CIPC deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Meeting Place, WebEx, and similar collaboration services (deployment/configuration and support experience).
  • Experience with multi-site Cisco Call Manager/SRST/Publisher/Subscriber Administration.
  • Understanding of Cisco tools: Operations Manager, Statistic Manager, Cisco Works, Prognosis, Netcool, Atlas (GEMS) ticketing.
  • Data Networking Knowledge & Telephony Integration experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within Telecommunications Infrastructures: PRI/T1/E1 Circuits/Signaling Protocols (MPLS/SIP/H.323/H.234).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within LAN/WAN/PSTN/PTT Networks.
  • PRI/T1/E1 Circuits/Signaling Protocols (MPLS/SIP/H.323/H.234) design and deployment experience.
  • Understanding of network security concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical documentation and client communication).
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Avaya Definity and Audix systems & support experience.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Tools (PowerPoint, Visio, Spreadsheets, Word).
