Description
OVERVIEW:
For this contract position with a global leader in computer hardware, you will be delivering the software for wireless networking products for Middleware software. The candidate in this contract position will maintain test networks and perform new feature testing and interoperability testing across OS and across devices. In addition, s/he will develop test plans/cases and execute test cases for software testing on wireless networking products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 - 5 years experience developing software test plans, test harnesses, automated test suites and scripts
- Knowledge in software test methodologies, Windows, Networking, wireless/communication (WiFi, WiMAX, BT), VC++/.Net programming
- Knowledge in multiple OS's, eg, Windows, Android, Linux and iOS
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Windows network administration, small network setup, customer devices, Perl/DOS Scripting, Visual Basic, Visual C++, .NET programming, debugging/root cause analysis, etc.
- Testing tools, ie SilkTest, knowledge/experience in 802.11 protocols and testing, knowledge in wireless security, ie 802.1x, WPA2, WFA
This contract position is 3 months in duration with possibility of extension.
