Voice Product Manager
Specifically, this job opening is related to identifying or gathering business requirements on specific use cases that will affect VoIP infrastructure foundation or individual UC features or functionality.
The client's strategic initiative includes centralizing as much functionality as possible related to Telephony Systems (telephone, wireless devices, voicemail or ACD) to enable a ubiquitous experience regardless of facility. In addition, balancing optimization, standardization and enhance feature roll out based upon the ever increasing needs to be mobile and more efficient.
Eliminate the tool belt of devices that providers have to carry today. Instead have the right device for the right role and function based upon workflow
Voice and Video over WiFi (VVoWiFi) mobile devices capable of not only voice and video, but messaging that integrates clinical applications and workflow.
Application integration from a variety of applications with end-user devices. Some of these devices are proprietary, highly specialized medical devices. Others are standards-based platforms requiring engineered solutions.
Job Description
The Voice Product Manager, will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the engineering, support and business teams to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and manage product strategies and roadmaps for voice products or features
Develop and execute stakeholder management and engagement process
Write and maintain product and business process documentation relating to voice products, including product requirements documentation
Perform market analysis on different equipment vendor products and solutions
Develop and champion business plans and project launch plans
Assess internal customer usage patterns and trends in uptake of services
Establish, manage and report product sales and financial metrics in the context of business plan objectives
Interface with cross-functional departments and teams both IT and Business (eg, Engineering, Operations, BIO)
Manage established vendor relationships and develop new ones where appropriate
Essential Job Functions:
7 years of strong, hands-on engineering for Voice, Video, Servers, and wireless devices.
5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco IPT infrastructure products.
5 years of experience with enterprise healthcare deployments.
5 years of experience with product life cycle management.
