Title: Data Consultant
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Type: Contract
Duration: 8 months

Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Data Consultant to:
Drive the process to create or update desktop procedures that will be published and used by a number of internal and external sources.
The ability to review either a Desktop or Program procedure to ensure that the document is comprehensive, detailed enough to align with the document type (Desktop or Program).
Work with reporting analysts to create new documents &from scratch& or to edit/update documents that have previously been published.
The ability to speak up during large Program Procedure review sessions involving a large number of people. Participation in these teams is critical to ensure that the reporting world is &covered& appropriately. This means that at times significant discussion/debate may be required to ensure that a document is not published with reporting elements that have potential to compromise an audit that might occur at some future date.
Flexibility to move from one topic to another in a short amount of time is critical.
Follow-up and follow-through are key attributes.
Interpersonal skills are required as all work duties are performed with or for someone or some team.
All documentation efforts are tracked so that overall results can be reported on.
Some level of understanding of how a SharePoint site works is a plus.

Desired Education/Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Mortgage Banking, Servicing or Default required, preferably with writing/documentation skills.
Bachelor level college degree or work equivalent.
A working knowledge of SQL and SharePoint.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with business partners to create an open and collaborative working environment.
Excellent computer skills: MS Office Applications.
Excellent time management and planning skills.
Strong organizational skills needed to handle the coordination of multiple priorities in a fluid environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
Complete other responsibilities, as assigned. Complete other related duties as assigned and support the Company's Diversity programs.
