Sr. Smart Grid Security Analyst with 5-10 years experience.

Duties include:
Assist and support the design, development, and implementation highly complex architectures, frameworks and infrastructures that integrate with current enterprise standards and architectures. Assist architects and operations technology staff in the evaluation, risk analysis, design and architecture of Smart Grid technologies and corresponding security controls.
Coordinates and executes security tasks; conducts information protection assessment, penetration testing, component testing, security audits and manages remediation plans including recommend architecture, design and requirement updates;
Prepares documentation, test scripts, interoperability standards gap analysis and remediation; actively participates in security community, such as NIST, ASAP-SG, and UCA Open SG, etc. to maintain current on developing standards and policies. Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to leverage new technologies, vendor architectures, standards and processes that meet the needs of the business safely and securely. This individual will participate in technical aspects of projects within a team which requires strong IT and/or Telecom planning and prioritization skills necessary to assure adequate cyber security from design through implementation oversight.

  • More than 5 years experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, White Hat Security Researcher/Tester
  • Ability to develop security test case scripts, execute tests and document results
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred.
  • Electric Industry experience is preferred
  • Silver Spring Networks, Utility IQ (UIQ), General Electric electric meters, Landis and Gyr electric meters, Smart meter, AMI Meter, Meter Data Management System (MDMS), Operational Data Store (ODS), Load Management System (LMS), Field Service Unit, mesh network, mesh access point, Relay, Demand Response, Borland CaliberRM & Hewlett Packard Quality Center (HPQC).
  • Experience with the evaluation and implementation of software, Middleware and hardware targeted for possible integration into the environment
  • Experience with application development, engineering and operations to define internal standards, governance and change management processes, architectural layouts, reference frameworks and direction for key technology initiatives, disciplines and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work hourly on a w-2. No C2C. Email resumes.
