Our Client partners with their clients to help them own the healthcare consumer relationship, playing an integral role in delivering their brand experience through multiple patient touch points, and uses our wealth of consumer intelligence to develop new products and services that help our clients attract new consumers and strengthen their relationships with them. Our Client is sourcing a candidate to immediately fill a Sr. WebFocus development role within their Enterprise Data Group. The primary objective of this position is to provide comprehensive reporting of all data collected by internal and external systems. This includes generating month end fulfillment reports, daily and weekly rosters, labels, and other required reports. Analyzing reporting requirements and providing scheduling mechanisms for reliable systems are expected.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, deploy and tune BI tools and applications in IBI (Information Builders) Stack.
- Create reports and report templates. Develop multidimensional semantic layer and BI query objects for end users.
- Develop and manage BI Training, documentation and help desk capabilities.
- In support of new projects/workorders and processes, performs advanced data activities such as building custom queries, performing data conversions, and defining table and field relationships.
- Determines and creates the most appropriate graphical representation of reporting data (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) utilizing WebFOCUS.
- Schedules, builds and runs procedures for recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Performs data conversion of reporting output from .mdb files to ASCII, .txt (delimited and non), CSV, .xls, .doc and .dot, etc.
- In support of new projects and processes, performs advanced data activities such as building custom queries, performing data conversions, and defining table and field relationships.
- Determines and creates the most appropriate graphical representation of reporting data (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) utilizing WebFOCUS.
- Provide leadership and guide 3rd party vendors throughout the systems development life cycle to ensure quality and conformance to defined IT system architecture, standards and practices.
- Design and deliver full and effective life cycle testing of applications including system test, integration test, regression test and UAT.
- Support Project Managers to ensure that solutions are delivered within time and budget allotted.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology with at least a two years of experience building reports using WebFOCUS including:
- Experience using Report Caster, Active Reports, and Info Assist.
- Experience with installing and maintaining IBI reporting tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SQL, relational, and multidimensional designs.
- Experience with software version control and managing multiple environments (dev, test, QA, production).
- Experience with production systems support and troubleshooting production issues.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
