Pre-Sales Solutions Architect - Unified Comms/IP Tel -CiscoOur client is one of Australia's leading ICT services and solutions providers, spanning infrastructure services, business continuity, managed services and information management.
You will be a key member of the Solutions Architect team based in Sydney, assisting with all aspects of the design, planning and participation in Cisco network, Unified Comms and IP tel solutions. Alongside this, the Consulting Architect will aim to provide comprehensive design and technical support to the sales team as well as assisting and complementing the mid to junior level engineers in a mentor as well as technical capacity.
Responsibilities include:
Projects:
Provide technical guidance to the project teams and customers.
PreSales:
- Consult with customers to determine needs and meet with customer on an ongoing basis throughout network solution and unified comms solution development.
- You will require a detailed understanding of one or more of the following technology areas: Cisco Data Networks, Unified Comms and IP Telephony at an Enterprise level.
- You must be seen as an industry technical/architectural expert in this area.
Sound working knowledge of the market, third parties and experience in an outsourcing environment - Proven project management skills, strong analytical skills, ownership of issues
Solid business ethics, self motivated, self-confident and demonstrate initiative
Tertiary qualifications in IT or Engineering discipline, Industry certifications from Cisco and/or Juniper
Desirable attributes:
- Extensive technical experience working in networking and VOIP solutions technologies, with experience in dealing with account management and/or business development functions.
- Knowledge of Carrier network infrastructure
- CCIE certified or extensive relevant industry experience
