Four month SQL Server DBA contract available for my client based just South City Centre.
Requirements for DBA:
My Client are looking for a candidate with strong SQL Server DBA skills and some Oracle DBA skills as well.
DBA Responsibilities:
Essentially the new DBA will be tasked with helping us resolve the performance issues with the company website and helping out with routine Oracle DBA tasks in the Central Market Systems through the IDT implementation.
The following are the key skills required:
SQL Server Skills:
- Backup and Recovery
- Maintenance Plans
- Performance Tuning
- Partitioning
- Database Mirroring
- T-SQL
- Installation
Oracle:
- General DBA tasks -
- Database object and schema management.
- Test database refreshes from production
- SQL Scripting
