Description
My client is currently looking for a SQL DBA to start a 6 month contract based in Chester.
The SQL Analyst/DBA will be responsible for IBM DB2, SQL Server, MS Access Design and Implement
Responsibilities:
- Implement business logics using T-SQL, PL/SQL - ETL Data from DB2, Oracle etc into SQL Server.
- Database schema design and implementation - good design skills are key to optimise, normalise and ensure efficiency
- Install and maintain SQL Server for development and deployment
- Run and define reports
- Database backups
Key abilities:
- Design and develop in SQL
- SQL Data partitioning
- Ability to design and scope SSIS, ETL packages to load and process data from other sources including but not limited to (SQL, IBM DB)
- Ability to design and develop SQP reports and simple ASP.NET applications
