My client is a leading industry specialist is urgently seeking a Web developerThe Software Developer will work closely with the business - and on occasions external clients - to elicit requirements for a large variety of the custom build of corporate web sites and tools. The expectation is that from day one the Web Developer will work on the projects end to end through the life cycle to ensure delivery to the high standards expected by the company's client base.
You will be involved in the creation, analysis, documentation and maintenance of corporate web sites and Microsoft SharePoint portal solutions.
Work will be varied, and include a whole range of responsibilities:
- Unit testing with input into formal test plans and scripts
- Documentation of projects delivered
- Contributing to innovation within the software development team
Key skills required:
- Strong experience of Developing web sites from scratch with ASP.NET (VB.NET) using Visual Studio. - A good working knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Experience of software development with MS SQL Server
- Strong communicato
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Classic ASP & JavaScript
- T-SQL
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
