We are currently looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to join a large Financial Services Client based in Central London.

ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen within the Group Strategy team for a Senior Manager to fulfil a 3 month+ contract. The Group Strategy team supports the formulation through to implementation of strategy and Strategic priorities. The role will involve:
- identifying key strategic issues and assisting the Executive and regional heads in addressing them
- supporting the regions in the development of their strategies and business plans
- scanning the external environment and updating the Executive as appropriate on competitors, market developments and other strategic intelligence
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of working in financial services, in a strategic role in a business unit, or
- Experience in a top-tier strategy consultancy company with very broad, high level business experience of financial services companies
- Previous involvement in roles with a high degree of personal initiative and responsibility
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Deep knowledge of Life & Pensions+/or Fund Management +/or General Insurance operations, preferably more than one of these
- Strong analytical skills ideally with experience of financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis
- In depth understanding of insurance accounting and financial economics
- Broad and deep understanding of, organisations and organisational structures/dynamics (particularly Financial Services companies) and their corporate competencies, key operational processes, relationships with suppliers, partners etc
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and able to present complex messages in meaningful ways and be comfortable working at the most senior levels of the organisation
