Description
This highly reputable organisation is seeking a Computer Operator who will be part of a team that is responsible for all computer systems and applications assigned for monitoring and control as well as escalation of processing problems in the client's core systems.Core responsibilities include:
- Monitor systems in line with pre defined operational controls, processes and requirements
- Accept problem ownership to ensure root cause is alleviated and correct problem escalation and awareness are executed
- Assist the workload supervisor in coordination of problem recovery via ' Incident' management or equivalent processes and change management implementation
- Actively contribute to collaboration and communication within your team
You will be faced with challenges of developing an understanding of the drivers of costs, develop an understanding of processes, policy and automation over the environment, contribute to ongoing feedback and communication processes within your team as well as contribute to the development of effective and efficient relationships within the business and technology The successful candidate will have 2 years of experience in IT customer service and relationship management as well as some knowledge of all automation and monitoring tools, as well as the ability to understand operational systems and technologies.
