This large, high profile and highly prestigious Federal Government Department is looking for a Business Analyst to take play an important part in undertaking a quality and detailed requirements analysis for new system/enhancements. You will be involved in the assisting team members to develop semantic and logical models of the system.
This is pivotal role in the department and your core responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Meeting with stakeholders through the requirement gathering phases
- Reviewing proposals to ensure requirements are met
- Stakeholder management in the early stages of project delivery
- Building and maintaining key relationships with various business units
- Creation and updating all documentation
- Managing issue resolution to minimise impact on project outcomes
To be considered for this great opportunity the successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven history of quickly acquiring an understanding of clients requirements
- The ability to work with non-technical people on technical requirements
- Experience in translating client requests into technical requirements
- High quality written and verbal communications
- A good understanding of ICT on business operations
On offer to the successful applicant will be an initial 3 month contract, with a possibility to extend and with highly attractive rates. Rates will be determined by skills and experience working on similar projects or environments.
