Leading Healthcare organization seeks Senior Datawarehouse Architect with Epic/Clarity experience. This is a permanent position, however a contract to perm arrangement is available. Location can be either Jacksonville Florida or Orlando Florida.
This position is responsible for: supporting the processes to identify, capture, and store data in the various Datawarehouse structures; supporting the various applications used to operate the Datawarehouse; and supporting clinical, operational, and administrative users of Datawarehouse query, reporting, and analysis tools (eg Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Performance Measurement). The Datawarehouse architects participate in the design, accumulation, and maintenance of data from the operational systems, other internal sources within the organization, and external sources into databases using relational and multidimensional structures. They may create, monitor, and modify additional transformations to derive values, facilitate analysis, or improve the structure and quality. They maintain documentation of the data (metadata) to assist users in finding the correct data for their informational needs. They perform these tasks through knowledge of the data and the intended use of the data. The architect also supports the installation, maintenance and use of varied query, reporting, and analytic software.
Essential Functions
- Design, implement, document, monitor, and maintain the Datawarehouse extract, transformation and load (ETL) processes (including timeliness, accuracy, completeness. and metadata).
- Perform data analysis and Design, implement, document (eg data models, metadata), and maintain relational (normalized and denormalized) and multi-dimensional data stores. (ie tables, databases, views, data marts, cubes).
- Coordinate or perform applicable upgrades (applications, systems software, hardware).
- Design and administration of Datawarehouse security.
- Support users of our suite of reporting and analytic tools, which currently include Business Objects/Crystal, Hyperion Analyzer, Hyperion Spreadsheet Add-In, SPSS, and SAS.
- Open, track and resolve problem issues with vendor customer support.
- Conduct JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions to determine, document, and validate user requirements.?
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience and possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of Epic/Clarity with 3+ years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the Epic/Clarity ETL process.
- Data Modeling experience 5+ years.
- Strong SQL sills.

- Experience with SAP Data Integrator (Data Services), BOXI.
- Crystal Reports.
