Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Work with various stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, assess impacts and translate into appropriate architectural and technical designs and solutions
- Develop and maintain application software according to specifications and/or as required
- Contribute and help drive team process improvement initiatives
- Conform to quality assurance standards and agreed processes within the department
- Support the application software by fixing problems as required
- Perform unit and integration testing on developed code
- Produce thorough and effective unit and system test plans and participate and/or support further testing phases as directed
- Participate in and support the rollout of continuous improvement initiatives as directed
- Assist with investigations into potential solutions
- Utilise AGILE methodologies, practices and principals where appropriate in your work
- Solid experience as a Systems Analyst
- Strong PL/SQL
- Agile environment experience
- Business facing experience
- Prior experience in a financial company
- Exposure to performance tuning will be highly regarded
- Strong Worker's Comp experience will also be highly advantageous
