The ACT's most established and reputable federal government organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a talented IT department for a potential long term contract in the ACT. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of project outcomes, within a program towards the achievement of this departments strategic plans.
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria;
- Demonstrated success in the delivery of ICT projects particularly in the delivery of ICT security and/or infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrated experience in integrating project deliverables, including new processes and practices, into an existing or new business model/culture
- Industry recognised senior project management certification held for a minimum period of 5 years or equivalent experience in delivery of projects
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people in a team environment in an equitable, participative and consultative manner to achieve organisational outcomes
- A demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth Financial Accounting and Procurement practices, particularly an understanding of the definition of operating and capital expenditure
