Description
Security Analyst needed for a long term contract opportunity located in Columbia, South Carolina! The Security Analyst monitors enterprise infrastructure and systems in search of suspicious activity. In this role you will monitor information traffic to identify abnormal occurrences and to ensure compliance with the corporate security policies and standards. You will assists in the response to internal or external controls audits where information security is indicated. You will also perform system monitoring evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with the corporate security policies and standards. In addition, you will validate the configuration and vulnerability compliance of vital technology components such as operating systems, applications, network devices, and appliances.

- Familiarity with threat analysis risk management.
- Ability to conduct research into security issues and products.
- Microsoft GPO knowledge.
Experience with Security+, knowledge of packaging and deployment tools such as Wise, Install Shield, Citrix Installation Manager, or SCCM and a familiarity with scanning tools such as Retina are all highly desired but not required.
