Description
Interim Assistant Board Secretary is required for an NHS organisation in the West Midlands.
As the interim Assistant Board Secretary your responsibility will include ensuring the smooth running of board meetings, accurate capturing of Board discussions, and supporting other corporate governance functions as the Trust prepares its application for FT status.
This will be for an initial period of 3 months but may be extended.
We are looking for an individual with relevant experience in this field, who is able to lead on ensuring reliable Board arrangements and other standard Trust governance arrangements such as registers of hospitality and interests, which meet NHS governance requirements. The postholder will also support the Director with some aspects of development work towards the Trust's Foundation Trust application, and will need to be a self starter, able to work independently and reliably to produce work of consistent high quality.
