OVERVIEW:
Our client is a super high-visibility computer manufacturing company with an immediate opening for a Driver Developer with senior-level experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert C/C++ and Object Oriented coding skills
- Debug and development experience with Kernel debuggers and/or Windows application debuggers and/or DOS firmware and/or OROM and/or Basic Input Output System (BIOS) debugging
- Strong knowledge of OS and driver internals
- Education and experience in file systems
- Experience with storage protocols, interfaces and concepts (SATA, SAS, SCSI, AHCI) including caching
- General PC architecture knowledge
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Windows software programming experience, PC System BIOS skills, and PC assembly skills would be an added advantage
- Experience with Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI), Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE) or RAID devices would be an advantage
