Capacity Management Consultant - Our client, a leading financial organisation are looking for a Capacity Management Consultant to join their Capacity Management team, which focuses on ensuring IT Infrastructure capacity matches demands in a cost effective manner. As Capacity Management Consultant you will focus on capacity planning, demand management, capacity operations, capacity engineering, capacity management infrastructure.
Our client is looking for a Windows Capacity Management Specialist with UNIX expertise. Day to day tasks will be performance engineering (participating in performance testing, analysing performance data, proposing changes and optimising resource usage and performance), capacity management infrastructure (defining and implementing business, service and resource indicators that need to be collected for Windows and UNIX platforms) and many other Capacity related activities
Capacity Management Consultant skills required:
- Experienced in Capacity Management and familiar with ITIL principles
- Expert in Windows including operating system, Middleware and frameworks. Highly experienced in performance analysis
- Strong knowledge of UNIX, AIX, Solaris and Linux
- Windows Virtualisation expert, have used vSphere and (r)esxtop for VMware
- Sysmon/Perfmon experience, able to write Windows scripts
- Familiar with nmon, Tivoli Enterprise Portal, Introscope and Scripting
- WebSphere Application Server and SAS experience (beneficial)
