This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the migration of financial products to new enhanced systems. This is 6 month initial contract, but the project is scheduled to last for at least 12 months.
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in system processes, and develop expertise in systems and processes
- Develop and leverage working relationships with key business and technical stakeholders
- Provide client support, consultancy, and guidance when required to ensure internal clients receive superior client service
- Understand and conform to group wide standards for Project Management and delivery
- Produce quality technical analysis covering complex data, complex data mapping, process and process mapping
- Produce functional technical specifications for system development
- Produce and undertake high quality testing plans and documentation
- Work closely with business analysts, sales and sales support staff, credit, compliance and operations staff to understand business requirements, and to ensure that understanding is faithfully translated to functional and technical specifications
- Work closely with developers and testers to ensure their understanding of and compliance with functional and technical requirements
- Pro-actively identify and resolve technical and business problems to meet deadlines and expected outcomes
- Lead or participate as a proactive team member to own and deliver assigned project work through the full development cycle
- Solid Technical Business Analysis experience in the financial sector including:
- SQL
- Data projects
- Developing functional and technical specifications
- Use cases
- Workflows
- Additional experience with some of the following: systems analysis & design, programming, testing, Datamodelling, implementation, user training and/or support
- The ability to build relationships, customer service and commercial orientation
- Attention to detail, pro-active and able to identify potential threats/weaknesses and cover off before they eventuate
