Description
This position calls for a Business Intelligence developer with excellent BI solution design and development skills. Qualified candidates will have a total of 5-plus year's development experience, with at least 3 years experience with MicroStrategy, including version 9.x. Qualified individual will provide technical leadership for applications support and small to medium sized development projects.
Responsibilities:
Applies technical expertise to development and support activities. Utilizes knowledge of technical architecture, business issues to deliver business solutions and meet customer and enterprise needs.
Collaborates with team and business customers for optimal short and long-term solutions.
Works independently to research and address reported issues.
Leads, collects and analyzes business requirements for small to medium sized development efforts. Recommends and delivers solutions.
Fosters and maintains good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
Required:
2-3 years BI development experience
Strong data design skills
Knowledgeable of SQL
Knowledge of MicroStrategy products
Experience working with the meta-data layer of Microstrategy.
Experience with the Architecture component of the Microstrategy suite.
Experience with MicroStrategy 9.x development suite
Skill in creating advanced level reports using advanced metrics in MicroStrategy Desktop and deploying via MicroStrategy Web.
Strong customer interaction, verbal and written communication skills, including documentation
Skill with MicroStrategy administration techniques, including security, object migration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with the MicroStrategy 9.x SDK a plus
MS SSIS experience a plus
