Job Title: Site Search Marketing Manager
Duration: 30 months
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Key Skill: Site Search Marketing
Notes: Position is classified as exempt -salaried. Selected worker will be paid and invoice will be for 8 hours daily for all days worked and 40 hours weekly regardless of actual hours worked.
Looking for a senior search marketing professional with demonstrated experience in increasing online sales via site search. Duties include optimizing search results to maximize effectiveness and developing strategies and plans for search-driven sales growth.
Responsibilities also include:
Take ownership of Adobe Search & Promote tool for site search.
Continually monitor site search results for insights on product and page performance and create plans for improvements.
Research effectiveness of keywords.
Create strategies and plans for merchandising products in search results.
Generate weekly and monthly reports on internal site search for executive review.
Take accountability for site search traffic performance.
Occasional development of sitemaps and flow diagrams to illustrate requirements.
Work with large, geographically dispersed teams.
Coordinate activities with external organic search and SEM teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Advertising, Marketing, Computer Science, Math, MIS, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
6+ years of experience in online marketing with demonstrated experience in increasing online sales through site search.
6+ years of experience in website production with a firm grasp of website fundamentals.
4+ years of experience applying web and E-commerce metrics analysis to problem-solving solutions.
2+ years of experience with Adobe Search and Promote.
Advanced experience with site optimization tools.
Fully up-to-date on current E-commerce tools and techniques.
PowerPoint and Excel wiz.
Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
Must be extremely detail oriented and have a passion for thoroughness and accuracy.
Very strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with Endeca a plus.
Experience with Adobe Test & Target a plus.
