Our Austin, TX Client is seeking  multiple CoolGen Developers. 6 Month contract to hire psoitions.

Description:

  • Analyze, design, build and test changes to CA GEN based application for one or more of the following functional areas: Provider, Member, Claims Processing, Payments.
  • Record test results in test management system and resolve identified defects as assigned.
  • Perform post-deployment verification per deployment procedures.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of appropriate programming languages and tools for supported systems.
  • Utilize document management system to maintain documentation.
  • Peer review work done by other team members.
  • Adhere to applicable process standards.
  • Utilize change management system to version code changes and follow approved change management processes.
  • Provide realistic estimates of own work.

Skills Required:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years full life cycle development experience for applications using CA:GEN (CoolGen) 6.5 and above.
  • 2 years experience with Object Oriented programming.
  • Experience with CA:GEN target Implementation for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
  • Exposure OLAP Reporting Tools (ie Bus Objects).
  • Experience writing SQL and working with databases.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Documentation experience using Visio & Word.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with C and SQL on HP/Tandem NSK platform.
  • Experience with TACL, Inspect tools for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
  • Experience CA:GEN target implementation for Java on Wintel platform.
  • Medicaid application experience in financial and claims processing systems.
  • Quality Center, Serena or similar test and configuration management tools.
