Our Austin, TX Client is seeking multiple CoolGen Developers. 6 Month contract to hire psoitions.
Description:
- Analyze, design, build and test changes to CA GEN based application for one or more of the following functional areas: Provider, Member, Claims Processing, Payments.
- Record test results in test management system and resolve identified defects as assigned.
- Perform post-deployment verification per deployment procedures.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of appropriate programming languages and tools for supported systems.
- Utilize document management system to maintain documentation.
- Peer review work done by other team members.
- Adhere to applicable process standards.
- Utilize change management system to version code changes and follow approved change management processes.
- Provide realistic estimates of own work.
Skills Required:
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years full life cycle development experience for applications using CA:GEN (CoolGen) 6.5 and above.
- 2 years experience with Object Oriented programming.
- Experience with CA:GEN target Implementation for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
- Exposure OLAP Reporting Tools (ie Bus Objects).
- Experience writing SQL and working with databases.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Documentation experience using Visio & Word.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with C and SQL on HP/Tandem NSK platform.
- Experience with TACL, Inspect tools for HP/Tandem NSK platform.
- Experience CA:GEN target implementation for Java on Wintel platform.
- Medicaid application experience in financial and claims processing systems.
- Quality Center, Serena or similar test and configuration management tools.
