Looking for a talented and experienced Web Analytics - Implementation Engineer who can contribute to the success of our client's Global Web Analytics expansion. This Implementation Engineer will be part of a dedicated team focused on web analytics platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and support Omniture SiteCatalyst and Insight platform (primary) and Tealeaf Ecosystems (secondary) pipeline, work with various business units to understand analytics requirements and partner with engineering team to develop and enhance data collection and Business Intelligence capabilities.
- Collaborate with various business stakeholders in scoping out analytics implementation for new strategic initiatives, affiliate partnerships, the client's web and mobile applications. Innovative thinking and problem solving is important for this role.
- Assist internal business stakeholders ranging from E-commerce owners, marketing/merchandising managers, and supply team to expand their usage of Omniture SiteCatalyst, Insight (formerly Visual Sciences), and Tealeaf platforms.
- Advise key business stakeholders and drive success based on their most important business KPIs.
- Communicate effectively with technology and engineering teams and on tracking standards and tag implementation guidelines, from concept to execution of tracking features.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience working in an E-commerce environment at the intersection of web analytics implementation and development background
- Experience with Scripting language such as JavaScript, PHP, Perl scripts, and database knowledge such as SQL, DB2 Toad client, and MySQL
- Working knowledge of web analytics platforms and tools - Omniture SiteCatalyst, Insight (formerly Visual Sciences), Tealeaf, API, Datawarehouse, Excel Client, Report Builder, Heat Map
- Experience in web analytics implementation, deep technical skills, and demonstrated organizational effectiveness will all contribute to success in fulfilling the duties of this position
- Experience with mobile web and mobile app measurement concepts, analytics implementation using PHP or JavaScript based data collection
- Strong ability to define and deliver web analytics platform needs from business case through execution
- Applied knowledge of statistical concepts, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), PPC (Pay Per Click), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and email marketing
- Competency with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status
- Must be flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
