Description
This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 6-12+ month contract opening for a Senior Java/C Developer. This position requires 5+ years Java and C development experience with a preference for J2EE & WebSphere experience and a majority of the following:
- Technologies: SOA, Event Driven Architecture, WebServices.
- Frameworks: Spring, SpringMVC, Hibernate, JUnit, Mule, JQuery, Quartz, JAXB.
- Languages: Java 1.6, JSON, JavaScript, C/C++, CGI, PERL, HTML, XML, PL/SQL, Bash/Ksh.
- Databases: Oracle 10G/11G, Sybase.
- Messaging: Tibco EMS, MQ Series, Tibco Smart Sockets.
- Platform: WINDOWS 7/XP/2000/NT, Linux, SUN/SOLARIS, HPUX, XMotif, MS DOS.
- Networking: SOAP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
- Tools: Eclipse, Clearcase, Code Collaborator, CheckStyle, PMD, StarUML, XML SPY, UML, Emacs, VI, VISIO, Maven, GNU MAKE Application.
- Containers: Tomcat (tcServer/Tomcat 6.X, 7.X), Spring ERS/Apache Http Server (2.X).
This Java/C Developer will be responsible for analysing, designing, programming, testing, documenting, and implementing functionally appropriately, technically sound, and well-integrated application systems in accordance with Customer requirements, and organizational methodologies and standards. Will respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.
