Position Description:
A program/project manager will manage complete end to end SDLC Projects or Programs following Kaiser Permanente's project management life cycle methodology. Project/Program Managers are expected to deliver on-time, on-budget projects to meet or exceed customer expectations. Act as the primary interface to the business partners and interface with the IT Business Segment Partners for issue resolution and project initiation. Responsible for producing all PM deliverables, including detailed project plans, risk/issue logs, financial forecasts, status reports, and deployment plans.
Experience Level:
Experience successfully managing and delivering full life cycle IT projects between $3-$5 million in total budget following a standard PM methodology.(waterfall preferred). Projects will be within Healthcare IT space specifically in either Health plan operations or Care Delivery. Skill Set: Healthcare experience preferred. Must be able to create and maintain project budgets along with cost accounting of resources. Must also have been the primary PM on highly complex and large scale IT projects. Candidate must have the ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines. Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills are also required. Proven expertise using MS Project required, Clarity skills a plus. Must have experience managing mixed matrixed technical and functional teams of 10+ people. Experience managing virtual teams desired. Excellent organizational skills are required to be successful. Bachelor's degree required.
