Job description:

The Salesforce.com Solution Architect will manage IT system architecture across the Salesforce.com platform. Solid experience in, leadership of and knowledge of system architecture in Cloud computing/Software as a Service (SaaS) will be needed, and well as expertise in the Salesforce.com platform. Responsibilities will span the initiation/ideation of new projects, assisting business partners through the Requirement and Solutions Analysis (RSA) process, driving key projects to a successful conclusion, and developing the domain roadmap.

Specific Tasks/Key Deliverables:

CRM/Sales system leadership from SME competency to complete agile methodology for configuration and custom development tracks.
Lead business and technology groups through sales system architecture design discussions
Steer the architecture design and review process together with Client IT Enterprise Architecture, including planning, reviewing of deliverables and communicating to management
Proactive Recommendation of changes as needed to achieve project deliverables
Lead Road mapping activities to understand business/technology direction
Working with business to understand business needs and lead the design of Salesforce.com solutions while keeping aligned with Client IT's enterprise strategies
Working across multiple teams in Client while juggling multiple tasks with differing priorities
Demonstrate professionalism interacting with all levels of user community
Experience collaborating with IT and functional units
Proactive Identification of application usage problems and crafting of technical/communication plans to Remedy
Skills required: Salesforce.com, Cloud, SOA

Mandatory skills:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in enterprise systems, application architecture and cloud computing/SaaS in a medium to large size environment

Ability to work under pressure, but continue to think clearly and provide support and guidance through difficult processes and schedules
Ability to collaborate as a team player in an organization with various project participants onshore and offshore
Strong leadership abilities and an assertive personality, a great attitude and ability to handle change while managing people effectively through change
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and motivate staff at all levels and apply skills and techniques to solve problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving expertise
Experience in Salesforce.com application framework and implementation
Experienced addresses complex issues within Salesforce CRM, Cloud, Integration & Business Intelligence
Experience designing solutions using Force.com, APEX, Visualforce and other tools that extend the product
Experience with integrating Salesforce.com applications with other Salesforce.com instances and other technology platform
Experience in application architecture design and management in a complex environment
Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) experience
Bachelor's Degree or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Master Data Management concepts
Experience with Enterprise Service Bus Development
Experience with Java Application Development
Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms
Experience with ETL Tools
Understanding S-controls and APEX coding
Experience in Developing reports, dashboards
Formal Salesforce.com training and or certification

Specific Experience with reference to Mandatory skills: 5 years
